Magpies are pleased to be holding our first Wine Evening on Thursday October 14th, since the pandemic began. We are pleased to welcome back guest speaker Ed Newton from Corney and Barrow Wine Merchants. We look forward to trying some amazing wines from around the world. Chef and his small team have created a delicious five course menu to accompany the fleet of wines. The evening starts with Ed introducing the tasting of four or five wines, Ed will discuss the grape varieties and flavours of each of the wines. He will inform us about the vineyards that produce each of the wines in a lively and fun manner. There is also the opportunity for guests to offer their opinions of each wine as they sample them, we take a short break. Dinner is served with Ed’s choice of wines, that he has chosen to compliment each course. We hope that our guests enjoy a fun filled evening, with great food and delicious wine,
