The Lincolnshire Wolds

The Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The magnificent landscape with its large skies, gently rolling hills and working farmland, speckled with quaint market towns and tiny hamlets is unspoilt and full of rural charm.

As the highest land in Eastern England, between Kent and Yorkshire, The Lincolnshire Wolds is the perfect location for spectacular views to The Pennines in the West all the way to the The East Coast. Much of the rolling landscape has been forged by the underlaying chalk streams, which pop up through the ground with crystal clear water, which results in an abundance of varied flora and fauna.

The Lincolnshire Wolds is an area made up of working farmland, woodland, and grassland and became an area of outstanding natural beauty in 1973. The delightful scenery with gently rolling hills, market towns with majestic church spires, villages and hamlets dotted across this charming and unspoilt landscape reach all the way across to the East coast.
